Suspending the incessant thoughts and judgements which can characterise modern life, we are encouraged through guided, not choreographed, movement to music to access the wisdom which exists within each of us.

“Embodiment and somatic work provides a language for expressing feelings and emotions which can supersede the ability of words.
The first time I was invited to embodiment session I joined it with a raised eyebrow and a great deal of scepticism. But after the 90 minutes session finished, I realised that I felt so different. Lighter. More open to possibility. Calmer. More positive. Unburdened. Surprised!
I pushed the resistance and attended many more such sessions with the amazing Susie Heath, with whom I have since had the great privilege and joy to study with over an 18-month period to Embodiment Coaching Academy certified embodiment facilitator.
For me, embodiment and the somatic healing which this has enabled has been the missing piece to help me on my journey of healing and personal development. I feel so much more comfortable in my own skin, and more grateful for the miracle of what my body does and enables, rather than castigating it for imperfections and disowning the body in which I am having my human experience. This, in turn, has enabled me to be more expressive and loving towards others and to feel more joyful and connected in life.
Resisting the resistance and getting over the doubt about this practice did not happen overnight. But I’m so glad that it did.”
